The idea for MedicScribe was born in the back of an ambulance, after another late night spent finishing redundant reports. As EMTs, we saw how technology lagged behind the realities of emergency care — forcing responders to spend hours typing instead of recovering or preparing for the next call.
Founded by first responders and technologists, MedicScribe is reimagining EMS documentation for the modern era. We’ve witnessed firsthand how outdated reporting tools drain resources, reduce efficiency, and contribute to burnout. Our AI-powered platform makes documentation a resource — not a chore.

Former management consultant focused on tech strategy and M&A, with eight years of firsthand experience as a volunteer EMT. Kyle leads the strategic vision and operational growth of the company.
Ben Barton
Co-Founder & CTO
Former technical PM within the healthcare space with additional experience creating, scaling, and selling a computer vision startup with 8k users. Ben leads MedicScribe’s engineering and product.
